Weekend Update

A couple of things you should know about. Or at least, the geeks like me should know about.

There’s a great Q&A with Simpsons creator Matt Groening HERE.

And then, wait for it, there’s a three hour podcast glimpse into Battlestar Galactica’s Writers’ Room HERE, also downloadable on iTunes. Can’t wait to listen to that!

Ok, excitement over.

The Galactica podcasts are excellent. The third one is especially good, because of the disparity between the story they begin to break for the back half of the season and what eventually made it to the screen. Really fascinating.

Where do you find the time and money for all these workshops, Danny? Are you one of this gentlemen farmers living in a huge estate in the English countryside? I also find it somewhat tedious to have to scroll through all these announcements to discover that they're all in ENGLAND! Could you give us North Americans a little heads-up before we spend hours reading this drivel?

Dammit, maybe I should change the name of me blog to something else... I'm off for some clay shooting in the back garden... PULL!

Danny! Don't be taken in by this loser Enzio. He's been doing it to lots of people in the Scribosphere. I think he's some kind of psycho rejected screenwriter who's been dumping on everybody out of spite. You should see the stuff he wrote on my blog. But there is something strangely likeable about this snake. I'd say just enjoy his rants like I've been doing and laugh it off. If you haven't already been there, there are a few laughs to be had on his blog which make the pain he tries to dish out easier to digest.
Either that or he's somebody's idea of a sick joke.

Ah yes, all in good fun. Gotta take the good with the bad I suppose. Pinches of salt etc.

I think he's a spoof, and a pretty well- crafted one.

"I keep a well-heeled wife and two young children in my 4000 sq. ft. home on 20 acres overlooking a pristine lake. They are seldom allowed off the property."

Good post, Danny.

Where the hell do you find all this stuff?

"A pretty well-crafted one...".

Now I'll never be able to live that one down.

As for being a spoof, I'm more like a spook.
