The BBC writersroom is coming to the south west. Plymouth to be precise. Tomorrow! So, if you live in the area, make sure to pop along. It's free, and you get a chance to hand over one of your spec scripts! Details below or check out the link.

"Ever wondered what happens to your script when you send it in? Exactly how we assess your work and what we're looking for? What grabs us and what puts us off?
Here's your chance to put your questions to the people who assess up to 10,000 scripts a year for the BBC. You can also bring your script to hand in to us in person - but please make sure it meets our guidelines.

I agree with Danny...
These events are well worth going to. You see what nice peeps the Writersroom crew are, meet loads of other scribes & aspiring scribes & get your script to the top(ish) of the pile!
I went to the Brighton one ( see report at http://sheikspear.blogspot.com/2008/12/113-bbc-writersroom-event-4th-dec-2008.html) & met the now famous Chip & Michelle L of blogland!
I went to the Manchester radio one, and it was great. Very informative, and makes you feel kind of like you're really going to write that great script!
